Shawn Romkey is a mining professional with more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, having built a career in one of the world’s most dynamic and challenging professions. As a Professional Geoscientist, he has been extensively involved in all aspects of the mining environment, developing deep expertise in both underground and surface mining operations, as well as the software and hardware technologies that support them.
Throughout his career, Shawn has worked across a broad range of mining activities, from mineral exploration and resource development to open-pit and underground mining operations. His comprehensive understanding of geological, operational, and technical challenges enables him to provide practical solutions tailored to the needs of mining companies at every stage of a project.
